Day 5

 After breakfast we played cards on our balcony while watching the world pass by.

have until the next high tide to work on the hull.

The afternoon was spent aboard a jet boat on the Stikine River


Left hand on the throttles. 
Right hand on the stick
Push forward turn left
Pull back turn right. 
Very precise movements required when travelling at between 35 and 50 mph for 3 and a half hours.

Without a telephoto lens I couldn’t capture the Bsld Eagle in the tree. 


It was like driving a video game.

Here we are traveling at 39.8 mph in 803 feet of water. 
Yes 803 ft, it is a glacial valley. 





I am so happy 
But it will get better.
